X TA OK rogain: Instructions

Competition rules:

Event Centre: Oandu

Event map: Scale 1:30 000, h = 5 m, format A3, an orienteering map with simplified symbols.

Mapping: 2009, team work of TA OK, drawing by Tõnis Erm, Lauri Leppik.

Course: There are 40 checkpoints, maximum 140 points from visiting them all.

Participants: 2…5-member teams.

Age limit: All competitors must be at least 15 years of age (except in family class).

Teams are deemed to compete in every class for which they are eligible.

Entry fees: Entry fee for a team is the sum of entry fees for individual team members.

Catering in the event centre is included in the entry fee. No parking fee shall be charged.
Teams may either use their own SI-card or rent one from the organiser. The wish to rent a SI-card must be mentioned in the registration and the rental of EEK 30 must be paid with the entry fee. In the event the rented SI-card is lost or broken, a compensation of EEK 800 shall be charged.
The entry fee shall be paid by bank transfer using the following credentials: ROGAIN team, class, names of participants, TA Orienteerumisklubi, Account No. 1120066509 Swedbank, Liivalaia 8, 15040 Tallinn, Estonia; SWIFT: HABAEE2X, IBAN: EE57 2200 0011 2006 6509 (Please bring the receipt with you. NB! All transaction costs shall be paid by the payer).

Prizes: Three best teams in every class shall be awarded a prize.

Breach of rules:

Protests: Protests against a breach of rules and explanations about actions on the course can be submitted to the organiser until 6 p.m.

The entry limit is 1200 competitors.

Changes:
Changes by e-mail to register@rogain.ee
It is not permitted to add new teams after 14 September.
It is allowed to change the class, number and names of team members until 5 p.m. on 17 September.
The number of team members cannot be increased after 5 p.m. on 17 September.
After 17 September, you can, by way of exception, make changes on the morning of the competition, during the materials delivery, as follows:
a) change the name of a team member — EEK 25;
b) reduce the number of team members — EEK 50.

Souvenirs:
TAOK will give special souvenirs to all those who have participated in all ten regains. Please advise in the registration form this outstanding achievement. Analogous souvenirs can be ordered also by others; the terms and conditions will be announced by the beginning of registration.
